It is always ameliorate to have a web filtering solution (Firewall / Proxy Server), volition brand your job easier. Doing this using AD and GPO volition be quite a mess when you starting time to block not just i website. Nonetheless try the below link to cake urls through GPO.

If you need to block specific website from merely i server to all users, then try to edit the host file.

  • How-do-you-do,

According to your description, my understanding is that – block websites for users when they are connect to Essentials server via RWA.

In general, we tin can utilize proxy server/DNS/etc. to limit the website access under the condition that – at that place is a domain environs, or physical connected/controlled.

RWA is access via browser from a remote computer which is outside Essentials domain. it may be a home windows device, or a work device on another domain.

If your goal is security the server when connected via RWA, an constructive way would be controlling the account which has the permission to access Essentials remotely.

    Best Regards,
    Eve Wang

  • Howdy All,

I got solution. Showtime we need to create an organizational unit ( OU ) in Active directory and motility users to it.

Download google admin templates and extract.

Create a policy in Grouping policy direction under OU. Select 'aye' in enforced tab at correct side pan for OU. Edit newly created policy. Add google template in Administrative templates nether 'user configuration'. Select 'Google chrome' binder and in right side pane double click on "Block access to list of urls". Enter list of urls to block.

At final we need to update policy. At cmd run "gpupdate" or "gpupdate/force"

Then check sites in google browser.

To cake sites in IE: Tools/Internet options/content (we tin can add urls to block and tin can set password)
